Gezer Ayakkabı exceeded its European sales target with 160,000 pairs of boots sold
Gezer Ayakkabı, one of Europe’s leading boot manufacturers, has announced that it has sold over 160,000 pairs in the European market. This means that the previously set sales target of 150,000 pairs has been exceeded. It was noted that, during a period when the footwear sector was affected by exchange rate fluctuations and commercial uncertainties, the company continued its production through data-driven planning. It was noted that the company operates across 100,000 square metres of covered space and provides employment for over 1,500 people.
The company’s figures regarding boot production were disclosed as follows:
With an annual production capacity of 3.2 million pairs and annual sales of 2.5 million pairs, sales to the European market exceeded 160,000 pairs.
According to the statement, boot production is treated as a separate area of expertise within the company. There is a dedicated production line for this product group. The production facility is supported by a large number of moulds and machines, and technological investments are ongoing. The products are developed for various sectors, including industry, construction, agriculture and livestock farming. Compliance with international safety standards has been a key factor in sales within the European market. Models in the S4 and S5 classes, featuring steel toe caps and steel soles, are preferred for occupational safety; the products possess features such as slip-resistant soles, abrasion resistance and waterproofing.
It was emphasised that the product group known as ‘Yellow Boot’ has become synonymous with the brand in Turkey, whilst it was noted that the company continues its export activities.
